He Decided to Do Something About It.
Kalin Cothron spent years in the auto glass industry watching shops treat customers like invoice numbers. Rushing jobs. Using inferior materials. Cutting corners no customer would ever notice until something went wrong.
He decided to do something about it.
On June 14, 2014, with $2,500 to his name and a pickup truck, Kalin filed his paperwork with the State of Indiana and opened Tier One Auto Glass. That date changed everything. He describes it as the moment he mentally burned his boats. Failure was no longer an option.
"Treat every customer and their car as if it were your own family and your car, knowing it will be in an accident."
The first rule he set for his shop has never changed: treat every customer and their car as if it were your own family and your car, knowing it will be in an accident.
That rule drives everything at Tier One. The glass we choose. The adhesives we use. The technicians we hire. The certifications we pursue. The warranty we stand behind.
